Saltapicchio - Bargi di Camugnano (BO)

The adventure park Saltapicchio in Bargi di Camugnano (BO), open from spring to fall, is located inside the Regional Park of Suviana and Brasimone Lakes on the eastern shore of Suviana Lake.  The nature surrounding it is particular for its tranquility, green open spaces and uncontaminated air.

It is a fun park created to completely respect nature and where it is possible to have an exciting and thrilling experience immersed in the habitat of many different types of deer and… wolves!

Besides the two Practice courses there are also the courses Yellow Baby and Blue Baby, for children between 100 and 140 cm tall, while for kids over 140 cm tall and adults there are three courses divided by level of difficulty: Green, Yellow and Red.  For children ages 1 to 4 who are not yet tall enough for the other courses, there is a dedicated space to play accompanied by a parent.

Sports, nature and relaxation at Suviana Lake.  Near the Park it is possible to sunbathe along the shores of the lake, rent a paddle boat or do water sports.  The Oakwood Sailing Center rents boats and organizes sailing lessons while canoe lovers can rent a canoe at the Lucy Oasis, at the “Little Beach”, or they can bring their own.  The more adventurous can try out the thrilling decent along the Limentra River in a raft or Hydrospeed!

The Adventure Park Saltapicchio is also one of the starting points for walks and hikes thanks to its 30 km of paths suitable for hiking and mountain biking.

The schools here can do educational lessons about the environment upon prior booking, based on scholastic level.  Thanks to the expert environmental guides of the Madreselva Cooperative and to the collaboration with the Regional Park of Suviana and Brasimone Lakes, it is also possible to visit the nearby Museum of the Woods in Poranceto.

For families who love nature and exercise, the adventure park Saltapicchio offers a two day, one night stay on the Suviana and Brasimone Lakes.
