Primavera Slow

Many places, even more activities, a lot of excitement but just one common denominator: slow tourism in nature and multiple possibilities to get to know the natural heritage of a unique territory, where the land and sea mix to create exceptional scenery.

A full calendar of events dedicated to the theme of birdwatching, to outdoor tourism and in general to the theme of slow tourism in an area characterized by environmental and cultural excellence which make it very unique, and ideal destination for those who are looking for an authentic chance to experience nature.

There are six special events featured in Primavera 2013: things get started with Slow Easter, a series of events organized specifically for the Easter holiday weekend (March 29 to April 1).

Romantic excursions with "moonwatching" in the Ortazzo valley organized by the Visitors Center Cubo Magicola Bevanella, hikes in the Classe Pinewood, the Salt flats of Cervia or in the San Vitale Pinewood, or boat rides in the mouth of the Po Delta leaving from Goro and Gorino, or by bike in the Gran Bosco della Mesola Nature Reserve: these are just a few of the examples of the many options offered at the Po Delta Park.

During the next two weekends (April 6-7 and 13-14), as always in the I maggio Park and the Classe Pinewoods, the Green Days and the 35th Truffle festival will both be held, with markets of typical local products, demonstrations, learning labs, excursions and much, much more.

Absolutely new this year is the event "Itineradelta", where traveling becomes a great moment to enjoy this area.  On April 13-14, 20-21, and 27-28, 2013, it will be possible to follow three new itineraries with stops at the natural and historic sites that characterize this territory using various modes of environmentally friendly transportation throughout the day (boats, bicycles, horses, etc.).

The itineraries will be: Comacchio and its Marshes, following the River Reno (Argenta, Alfonsine and Ravenna), the S. Vitale Pinewood, Punte Alberete and the Piallassa della Baiona. During this event, it will be possible to try out the itineraries with excursions organized for the public, teachers and for journalists.

In Comacchio, “heart” of the Po Delta Park, the big event will be from April 27 to May 5 when the Slow week and the Photo Festival "Asferico 2013", curated by AFNI, will take place.  The photo festival will be held on May 4 and 5, a Saturday and Sunday, and is dedicated to nature and birdwatching photography.

In fact, many events have been planned with nature photographers in mind, with excursions dedicated to them, but also to those who love children, with learning labs and field trips.

May and June will be two months full of activities also in Cervia with many of the events taking place in Cervia-Milano Marittima: pinewoods, salt flats, and flowering gardens for the inauguration of May in Bloom on May 25 and 26.
