Cerreto Laghi (RE)

The town of Cerreto Laghi is located around a very beautiful lake at the foot of Monte Nuda which gives its name to this town (“laghi” means lakes in Italian) in the Apennines near Reggio Emilia.

It is the most popular resort in the Reggio Emilia area: 20 km of slopes, 5 lifts including a four-seater, a three-seater, a two-seater, a t-bar and a magic carpet lift, 7 km dedicated to cross-country skiing, a slope qualified for international competitions, a snowboarding park and a kids park.

The olympic champion of slalom Giuliano Razzoli from Villa Minozzo, a town in the Reggio Emilia Apennines, is the best representative of these mountains. "Il Razzo" (the rocket) learned to ski on these slopes and frequently comes back here to train.

Hotels, restaurants, boutiques, pizza parlors, pubs and spas, everything you need for a relaxing vacation with every service.

Ski pass prices 2017-2018. The day ski pass for adults costs €30 on weekends and 18€ on workdays, €21 on weekends and 15€ on workdays for kids 14 to 23 years old and 25€ on weekends and 15€ on weekdays for seniors.

Not just skiing.  The program is full of events, snowshoeing, hiking, and Nordic walking.  After skiing, you can take a private lesson with an instructor at the Palaghiaccio, the skating rink.  It is a meeting point where people of all ages gather, and there are many international workshops held here, with many Olympic, world and national champions attending.
