Prato Spilla (PR)

The Prato Spilla resort, at 1350 meters above sea level and located in the province of Parma (about 70 km from the city), in the town of Monchio delle Corti, between the provinces of Massa Carrara and Reggio Emilia, is an area of great value in the heart of the Cento Laghi Regional Park.

Here you can ski on 10 km of slopes - 2 black, 2 blue and one green - served by the ski lift Rio Spilla which takes skiers up to 1700 meters from which you can admire a breathtaking view, from the Gulf of La Spezia to the Alps. It is a stress free place, dedicated to families, children and those who have never skied before, a place to spend a nice weekend or a Sunday in the snow. It is open every weekend including during the Christmas season.

This town is a paradise for those who practice alpine skiing, in fact it is one of the few places where you can go from the peak to the valley on skis.

Prato Spilla is a small resort, but it is not missing a thing: there are stables, a snowboarding school, and many snowshoeing and hiking events. Among the hotels, the Rifugio Pratospilla is located in a panoramic position at the bottom of the slopes, twenty meters from the first slope, it sleeps 70 and can host meetings or conferences with a capacity of up to 250 people. For those that book here the ski pass is free.
