Schia (PR)

The ski resort of Schia (1200-1500 meters above sea level) 40 minutes by car from Parma is a privileged destination for many families with children: there is a modern lift on the ski school slope where there are many inflatable games dispersed and where kids can play even without wearing skis.

In Schia there are ten slopes of varying difficulty (total 15 km) with four lifts: 2 T-bars, 1 carpet lift and 1 2-seater chair lift, inaugurated in 2008 and capable of transporting 1,200 people per hour.

Besides the park for kids and the cross-country track, there is also a dynamic and very popular snowboarding park: it is the “ParKaio” designed for freestyle lovers, with jumps, boxes, rails and a lighting system that allows people to use it at night.

Snow is always here thanks to an artificial snow machine.
