Up and down on two wheels at Cimone Bike Park
The right season is finally here for getting on your bike and pedaling while enjoying the fresh air and beautiful landscape of Cimone Mountain.
Here the 2013 mountain biking season is officially underway along the spectacular routes at Cimone Bike Park, the area completely dedicated to downhill and free ride mountain biking, which two years ago became part of the exclusive group of the best bike parks in the world.

Located in the splendid setting of the Apennines near Modena and Frignano Park, between Fanano, Sestola, Montecreto and Riolunato, Cimone Bike Park offers numerous routes that wind along more than 70 km through woods and valleys; they are all free riding trails and there is one permanent downhill course as well.
For those who are curious and want to discover this Bike Park, they can request to be accompanied by expert MTB guides, and for those who do not have the necessary equipment, there are several rental places with all that you need.

Every Saturday and Sunday, from 9.00 am to 6pm, the ski lifts, equipped with bike racks, await biking enthusiasts. The lifts at Sestola-Pian del Falco, and Lago della Ninfa will be running as well as the cable car at Passo del Lupo – Pian Cavallaro. Also the shuttle bus with a bike trailer will be running from Pian del Falco to Passo del Lupo.
The prices are the same as last year: the daily bike-pass costs 20 euro; the morning pass is 10.50 euro and the afternoon pass is 11.50 euro, the two-day bike-pass is 36 euro.
Weekend packages for bikers are valid for the entire open season of the bikepark and can be found at vallidelcimone.it. These passes are for mountain bike enthusiasts who want to experience an adrenaline filled weekend on the innumerable paths at Cimone Bike Park.
There are also many vacation deals for bikers that want to stay over starting Friday night, or for those who just want to spend the day on the paths at Cimone.
