After 2000 years it is possible to admire a "little Pompei" in the city centre of Rimini. One of the richest collections of surgical and pharmaceutical equipment of ancient times.

This journey back in time covers a range of epochs starting from the villages of the Terramare and going all the way up to the Byzantine settlements. Each time period will be presented through sites, parks and museums representing the archeological heritage of the Emilia Romagna region.
In this archeological site near Piacenza, a new pathway has been outfitted with informational plaques and a museum area has been set up, with interesting artifacts from the 18th century dig of this ancient city, founded in 158 BC, which reached its height during the age of Augustus.
Besides the rare mosaics, some of which have never been seen before, from Ravenna and its surrounding areas, this museum exhibition also offers state of the art multimedia tools to help visitors discover how mosaics are made and their geographical locations interactively.

Located inside the Church of Sant'Eufemia in Ravenna, the Domus consists of 14 rooms and 3 courtyards with mosaics and marble dating from the 5th and 6th centuries AD.
