800 E DINTORNI
Antique and second-hand market
Center of the town
Spilamberto (MO)
On the third Sunday of each month, except in summer, the historic centre becomes even more attractive with its antique, modern and vintage exchange market.
On display, furniture and house decorations, old books, paintings and handicrafts, coins.
Spilamberto is a beautiful small town along the route known as the "La Strada dei Castelli" (Road of Castles). Its Castle was founded in 1210 by the people of Modena on the left bank of the River Panaro to defend its eastern border.
Of particular note is the elegant Villa Fabriani built at the end of the 18th century, which houses the splendid work of the 19th century Spilamberto sculptor G. Obici, "The Narcissus at the Fountain," and is home to the Association and Museum of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Spilamberto with some important vinegar stills in its garret.
