Now in its 41st year the 2013 Cervia Garden City event will continue the tradition of hosting the most skillful gardeners from famous Italian and foreign cities to create the most important outdoor flower show, with technicians, experts and masters of green areas.
Parks, flower beds, green sculptures and all the other creations will therefore be on show, like an outdoor exhibition that lasts all summer long. Each year more than 270,000 plants and flowers are used, and thousands of square metres of lawn.
The original gardens and flower compositions set up in several corners of the city can be seen from the end of May to the end of September.
On May 25th, the important official opening of the gardens is enriched with a Market exhibition (May 25th and 26th, from morning until 11 o'clock p.m. in the historic center and Viale Roma) with plants, flowers, natural products, pots, and outdoor furniture in a weekend dedicated to gardening and natural product enthusiasts. On Sunday, May 26th, there will be a guided tour by bike of the gardens created by towns and institutions for the event Cervia Garden City.
