MARE DI LIBRI
Festival of Literature for young people - 6th edition
Various locations downtown
Rimini (RN)
"Mare di libri" (Sea of books) is the first festival of literature in Italy for adolescents. The most beloved Italian and foreign writers will come to Rimini to meet all the “young adults” fond of books and literature.
An event dedicated to cultural entertainment, a meeting place for all young people who love books and reading. During the days of the festival they will have the opportunity to meet other people of the same age with whom to share their passion.
Meetings with the authors, laboratories, games, film projections, readings and theatre performances are on schedule.
Drinks and breakfast with the authors are opportunities to meet one's favourite writers in several places of Rimini's historic centre and a chance to discover another side of Rimini in addition to the Summer resort town.
Among the guests of this edition: the Canadian writer Deborah Ellis, author of the famous book "Under the burqa"; the French illustrator Benjamin Lacombe; Marie-Aude Murail, the French writer who has recently released a book based on the great English author Charles Dickens' life; the poet and writer Vivian Lamarque, just to name a few.
