Zuppa Inglese

Ingredients: a dozen ladyfinger biscuits, alchermes liquor. For the pastry cream: 5 egg yolks, 1 liter of milk, 5 spoonfuls of flour, 5 spoonfuls of sugar, lemon rind. For the chocolate pudding: 50 g of bitter cocoa powder, 50 g of powdered sugar, 50 g of flour, 50 g of butter, 1 liter of milk.

Preparation: for the pastry cream: mix the yolks with the sugar, then add the flour using a sieve. Warm up the milk with the lemon rind and pour it into the mixture, mix everything with a whisk and cook it on medium heat until it becomes thick, stirring continuously.

For the chocolate pudding: melt the butter, then add the cocoa powder, sugar and flour, and lastly the milk and cook it all on medium heat, stirring with a whisk to keep it from clumping.

When the two creams are cool, move on to preparing the dessert: quickly dip the ladyfingers in the liquor and make a lawyer of them in the bottom of your dish, pour some chocolate pudding on them and then some cream.

Repeat the layers until you have finished all of your ingredients. Let the dessert chill in the refrigerator before serving.
