Small agricultural centre in TidoneValley, Caminata is one of the region’s smallest, ancient municipalities.
Ancient walks (from which the name probably derives), now walled, towers, medieval workshops are the main characteristics of the borough, which also worked as customs between the Savoia State and the Duchy of Parma and Piacenza.
Places to visit: besides the borough, with its stone houses, there is also ‘Santi Sinforiano e Timoteo’ church.
The area is part of the horseway trail ‘ Andando per castelli’ and ‘La Grande Ippovia - Appennino Emilia Romagna’.
