Tornolo

Tornolo is situated in the Apennines along the Road of Porcino Mushroom and the Ippovia della Val Taro e Val Ceno and near the border with Liguria and overlooked by the mountain chain comprising Mount Penna and Mount Zoccone.

Thanks to its unspoiled natural surroundings, it is a popular destination in the summer.

The locality of Tarsogno in the neighborhood, where traces of an ancient branch of the Via Claudia which led to Lucca through the Magra Valley can still be seen, is renowned.
