Tourist Area
Nature and the Apennines
Sant’Alberto is a small town on the edge of the Valli di Comacchio, located at approximately 14km from the city of Ravenna in the middle of  the unspoiled natural environment of the Po Delta Park.

The main attraction of Sant’Alberto is the Palazzone: a building constructed in the first half of the sixteenth century by the Este family as a military garrison. It is now home to NatuRa Museum, a natural sciences museum which is dedicated to "Alfredo Brandolini", an early 20th century natural scientist from Ravenna. This museum houses a precious ornithological collection donated by Brandolini himself, and many other artifacts from different donations received over the years.

Furthermore, in the Renaissance parish church of Sant'Alberto there is a group of important artworks which include the Crowning of the Virgin by Luca Longhi, Our Lady of Sorrows by Ballanti Graziani and a wooden cross.
