Cycling-tourism Weekend
On Sunday May 19, the legendary “Nove Colli” returns to Cesenatico, now in its 43rd edition. The race has also become the occasion for several exhibitions and events of great interest which liven up the “cycling-tourism weekend” and involve not only fans and competitors, but also a wide audience of spectators and friends who use this opportunity to go sunbathing and taste the dishes of the famous local fish cuisine.

With its 12,000 participants, Nove Colli is the most popular cycling race in Europe, appreciated both by professionals and enthusiasts who want to try out this exciting, intense and difficult race; each person takes it on as they want or can. 200 kilometers of pedaling to get over nine hills (nove colli in Italian), dotted with spectacular landscapes which can be enjoyed on two wheels throughout the entire year.
This route also has an alternative 130 km version for amateur bikers just a bit “lazy”.
On May 17th and 18th, on Cesenatico’s Promenade, the suggestive area of Piazza Costa will be the setting for “Ciclo & Vento”, the international cycling exhibition where, at about 80 stands, the latest technological and mechanical innovations of the most prestigious bike brands can be found, with a lot of space dedicated also to accessories, dietetic products, dietary supplements, sportswear and fitness products.
On Saturday May 18th, at 12 noon in Via Armellini, the 16th edition of the “Nove Colli Running”, the foot race of 200 kilometers will start along the same route of the cycling race, and at 3.30 pm from Piazza Marconi the 2nd edition of the Mini Marathon Colli will take place, with two different bike routes of 12 and 4.3 km for children between 7 and 14 years old.
