Romagna Visit Card 2016

Back for the fifth year in a row is the Romagna Visit Card, the tourism card for the Romagna area - Ravenna, Forlì-Cesena and Rimini - with free and discounted admissions for a wide range of cultural events, but also with offers linked to wellness, fun and food and wine.

On sale for 14 euros, the Romagna Visit Card 2016 allows card holders to visit 48 tourist sites for free and to take advantage of about 60 attractions with reduced admission with discounts up to 50%.

Culture, history, art, but also wellness, hospitality, fun, wine and food, and discounts on transport as well as free gifts, all in a single, easy to use card of extreme convenience: thanks to its being valid until January 6, 2017, in fact, it allows card holders to visit Romagna at various times throughout the year.

Among the new sites with free admission for the Card 2016 there is the Planetarium of the National Park of the Casentinesi Forests and the exhibition “Piero della Francesca. Indagine su un mito” at the Musei San Domenico in Forlì; along with these, there are many unique places in the world and Unesco heritage sites such as the Basilica of Sant’Apollinare in Classe and Theodoric’s Mausoleum in Ravenna, but also the Fortress of San Leo, the Surgeon’s Domus in Rimini, Palazzo Romagnoli in Forlì and the Water Eco-Museum in Ridracoli.

There are many new places also on the circuit of sites with reduced admission, from the Archeological Park in Classe (Ravenna) to the convention with Shuttle Ra.Ce. and Romagna Shuttle, the transport services that connect Romagna to the airport in Bologna. Completing these deals are cultural events such as the Ravenna Festival, the Festival of Santarcangelo (Rn) and the Festival of Sarsina (Fc), but also offers linked to wellness (golf clubs and spas in Cervia, Riolo Terme, Bagno di Romagna, Castrocaro, Fratta Terme and Rimini) and fun, with the great amusement parks of the Riviera (from Mirabilandia to the Aquarium in Cattolica, from Italia in Miniatura to Acquafan).

For those who have the Card, there is also a free gift to get to know this territory even better: the box set “From lodge to lodge”, which contains a series of hiking itineraries in the National Park of the Casentinesi Forests, together with path maps and indications on the places to stay along the way.

The Romagna Visit Card is a personal card that can be purchased anywhere in the whole network of IAT and at the tourist offices of Romagna and at some participating sites for a total of 56 sales points, or online at www.romagnavisitcard.it/en and then it can be picked up, when you arrive in Romagna, at any one of the sales points. Once you have bought the card, it must be activated by registering it on the website or by sending a text message to the phone number provided. Every site included in the offer can be visited only once.

For small children this year there is also the Romagna Visit Card “Just4Kids”, for kids up to age 8: with every two adult cards purchased, you can get (upon request) a third card for children, with which they can get in free to the tourist sites included in the Romagna Visit Card, with an advantage over the reduced admission usually provided.
