Italy in Miniature
In Viserba di Rimini, along the coast, there is the park Italy In Miniature which celebrated 40 years of business in 2010. For the occasion a packed schedule of events and initiatives are being planned.

Dedicated to Italian history, both architectural and cultural, with more than 270 miniature reproductions of Italian and European wonders, in Italy in Miniature you can ride along the Grand Canal in a gondola, in a Venice one-fifth the original, or pretend to be a scientist in the Science Fun Fair.
The Canoe or the Sling Shot are breathtaking attractions while the one track Arcobaleno allows you to see the park from up high. Cannonacqua is the right place for water battles while the Interactive Driving School has a driving class for young racers!
The PalaPlayStation 3 is a pavilion dedicated to fans of video games.
In 2011 this amusement park will inaugurate the Pappamondo, a new area dedicated to the colorful and fascinating world of parrots, which can be admired up close as they fly against the backdrop of luscious tropical vegetation, and the Pappanursery, where newly hatched baby parrots can be taken care of and fed.
For small children there is the DeA village, the colorful kid-sized village with themed entertainment, games and creative labs which can be done with the most loved characters, fun for the whole family! In Piazza Italia, the heart of the park, where there are many curious animated characters, parties, themed events, and shows will be held.
By In 2011, Miniature Italy inaugurated YouMini, the exclusive attraction where it is possible, using a laser scanner and a 3D printer, to recreate a miniature version of yourself, which can be taken home or left at the park, in the cities and squares.
By 2013, Miniature Italy will finish remodeling the miniature park which in three years will see the completion of more than 9000 realistic details, among which are the new YouMini versions of visitors, urban life scenes, furniture, and animals that will make the atmosphere of the miniature cities even more like that of the real cities themselves.
