Important homes of Verdi

The Birth Place House in Roncole, Casa Barezzi and Palazzo Orlandi in Busseto host curious, paintings, announcements, drawings and photographs belonging to the Maestro.

In the rooms of Villa Verdi

The villa at Sant'Agata was bought by the composer in 1848 and enlarged and improved over the years. Giuseppe Verdi lived there with his second wife Giuseppina Strepponi.

NATIONAL GIUSEPPE VERDI MUSEUM

The Renaissance Villa Pallavicino in Busseto hosts the National Museum dedicated to this Maestro and celebrates his genius. The large rooms offer visitors twenty seven works with reproductions of the original settings of Casa Ricordi creating an intensely romantic atmosphere.

CIVIC RISORGIMENTO MUSEUM IN BOLOGNA

A symbolic document regarding the relationship between Verdi and the Italian Risorgimento can be found on display in the Civic Risorgimento Museum of Bologna.

A VISIT TO THE CLASSENSE LIBRARY

The presence of Verdi in the Classense Library is marked in particular by ten of his letters from Paris to Angelo Mariani of Ravenna, one of the musicians and friends closest to him at least until a certain point in his life.
