Everyone to the slopes!

As forecasted, and even more than was expected, snow has fallen on the mountains, allowing the ski lifts to open early.

It is already possible to ski down some of the slopes on the Emilia Apennines. Also in Piane di Mocogno abundant snow will allow visitors to ski on all the slopes starting November 30.

Opening soon is also the Nordic ski trail in Boscoreale di Piandelagotti. In Fiumalbo, the ski lift and practice slope are already open everyday.

On the website of the Apennines and Nature in Emilia Romagna all of the latest news this season is available, with package deals for everyone and every budget, attractions, many events and happenings on the slopes.

In keeping with the philosophy "white is fun" there are deals for skiers and fans of winter sports, starting with kids: for them there are baby parks with inflatables, magic carpet lifts, and entertainment; for bigger kids there is the Big Air Bag, an inflatable mattress to try out new moves in the air in a completely safe way.

Visitors can "fly" on the ground with kite surfing, dog-sledding, nighttime snowshoe treks, Nordic walking in lovely settings, ice climbing, and hiking. You can also try orienteering on snowshoes.

Visitors can also go out at night and try cross country skiing under the stars, along the streets of ancient towns. The snowboarding tribe can go crazy at the snow park with a series of jumps hundreds of meters long.

A sudden start in grand style at Corno alle Scale (Lizzano), on the Apennines near Bologna,  with all the ski lifts up and running and more than 120 cm of fresh snow on the slopes.

An invitation not to be missed for those who love to ski and are ready to kick off the season with a series of promotions and deals.

Corno alle Scale will dedicate a deal to families with “January, family month” which offers a weekend starting at 109.00 euro per person (71 euro in a residence), or two weekdays of your choice at 90 euro per person (60 in a residence). Do not miss the "trial" day on skis, good only on workdays, which offers a ski pass and rental (skis or snowboard) for just 25 euro.

All of this without forgetting organized groups, schools and ski clubs with special offers at great prices. For more information about the slopes and all the promotions available, please see the Bologna Apennines tourism website.
