Family Constellations - Dialogues on freedom is along the rooms of the Palace as an exhibition on the dialogue with other authors: friends first, but also others artists, photographers and poets contiguous to Colin for vision and education, great personalities with whom he worked or a cultural point of reference for him.
The project wants illustrate the relationship between the work of Gianluigi Colin and that of the artists close to him, starting from the comparison with Scultura d'ombra, a powerful permanent installation by Claudio Parmiggiani located on the second floor of the Governor's Palace. The result is a sort of constellation, an astral landscape that reveals coincidences, connections, correspondences and consolidated ties throughout Colin's entire life.

Colin has always been a politician with images: this exhibition highlights his civil commitment through the combination with languages and choices of other great artists such as Getulio Alviani, Aurelio Amendola, Nanni Balestrini, John Berger, Pierluigi Cappello, Danilo De Marco, Mario Dondero, Martino Gamper Emilio Isgrò, Marcello Jori, Jannis Kounellis, Nino Longobardi, Uliano Lucas, Brigitte Niedermair, Mimmo Paladino, Claudio Parmiggiani, Gianni Pettena, Antonio Recalcati, Mimmo Rotella, Mario Schifano, Federico Tavan, Franco Vaccari, Velasco Vitali.

An installation by Colin dedicated to the memory and history is the incipit to the exhibition, an the itinerary with four parts, each of which investigates a specific theme identified by key words: Presente storico, Wor(l)ds, Impronte del presente e Sacche di resistenza.
