Panina pasquale

In the Apennine tradition, on Easter families get together for breakfast and eat homemade things, among which there is always this Panina, a typical Easter dish which is still made in many families today.

Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients: 1 Kg. of flour, 2 cubes of yeast, 1 packet of yeast, 50 g of butter, 100 g of margarine, 100 g of lard, 300 g of raisins, 450 g of sugar,1 small glass of anisette, 1 small glass of cognac, 1 glass of milk, small pieces of an orange peel, small pieces of a lemon peel, 1 pinch of salt.

Preparation: let the dough - made by mixing all the ingredients together - rise for a few hours, then bake it at 180° for 2 hours and 30 minutes.
