Sautèed Onions


Sautèed OnionsDifficulty: Easy

Ingredients: 4kg of white onions, 300gr of fresh and peeled tomatoes, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 2 spoons of lard, 1 teaspoon of kitchen salt.

Preparation: Chop the oinions finely and leave them in salt and sugar for approximately 2 hours. Pour it into a pan with the lard and cook it at a low temperature for circa 2 hours. Add the finely chopped tomatoes and continue cooking for another hour. The sauté is perfectly suited to serve with boiled meat and polenta.
