Taking the train from Rimini to Ravenna

Taking the train from Rimini to RavennaYou can visit historical sites in the seaside towns, participate in the summer events, both during the day and in the evening, or have dinner in a new place sipping a good glass of Sangiovese or Trebbiano without a care in the world.


For the whole summer, until August 29, there will be many trains running between Rimini and Ravenna. For the Pink Night event as well as on August 16th, there will also be free historic trains running. For these trains, tickets are available at the Tourist Welcoming Offices (IAT) and will be available until supplies last.


The arrival and departure times are coordinated with the bus schedule of the buses that go from the inland cities to the coast and with the current shuttle buses.


This service is a great alternative to driving, you can get around quickly and reach all of the seaside towns and tourist attractions, without getting stuck in traffic or fighting to find parking.


There are 20-24 trains that run from 8am to 1am during the week, and until 3 on Fridays and Saturdays, and they stop at all the towns between Rimini and Ravenna.


Trains and buses to and from Romagna
Besides this service, there is also a Bologna-Rimini connection every afternoon departing from Bologna at 6:58pm, a Piacenza-Pesaro connection on holidays and a nightly connection between Bologna and Pesaro from July 3 to August 28.
