Romagna Visit Card

Back for the third year in a row is the Romagna Visit Card, a tourist card for the Romagna area - Ravenna, Forlì-Cesena and Rimini - with free admission and discounts for many cultural events, but also for events linked to wellness, fun, and wine and food.

There are forty-eight sites with completely free admission, from the San Domenico Museums in Forlì (which is hosting the exhibition “Liberty.  A style for modern Italy”) to the Fortress of San Leo, from the Malatestiana Library in Cesena to the Basilica di Sant’Apollinare in Classe di Ravenna, all for a single payment of 12 Euro, and the card is valid until 6 January 2015.

Besides the free admissions, the tourist card also includes a network of sites with reduced admissions, with a 50% discount; along with these discounts there are also reductions for accommodations, restaurants, wine bars and bathing establishments, as well as spas, golf clubs, theme parks (from Mirabilandia to Miniature Italy) and other events such as the Ravenna Festival.

Those who have the Card will also receive a gift box of flavors of Romagna, a land with many food and wine specialties, thanks to the collaboration with Coop Adriatica, which can be picked up at any Coop store in the area.

The card includes among the discounts also some bike rental places, so you can enjoy fun excursions by bike, and many different public transportation offers for tourists who want to move around the territory easily.

Also, to take advantage of the various tourist sites and the many great opportunities offered, the Romagna Visit Card in collaboration with Start Romagna will offer the special Orange Ticket for 3 or 7 days for tourists who wish to use public transportation during their stay in this area.

This tourism initiative does not leave children out, for whom there is the Romagna Visit Card “Just4Kids” which upon request, with the purchase of two adult cards, gives kids up to the age of 8 a card which allows them to have free admission to the tourism sites included in the Romagna Visit Card, with an advantage in regards to the usual reduced ticket price.

The Card can be bought at the website Romagna Visit Card as well as at all of the IAT and tourism offices in the Romagna territory and at some participating tourist sites (museums, etc.) for a total of 56 sales places where the card can be bought.
